Firewall settings for WSUS

WSUS server uses port 80 for HTTP protocol and port 443 for HTTPS protocol to obtain updates from Microsoft Update and it is not configurable.

If your organization uses address specific restrictions , you should allow access to the following domains so WSUS and Automatic Updates can communicate with Microsoft Update:
o http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
o http://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
o https://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
o http://*.update.microsoft.com
o https://*.update.microsoft.com
o http://*.windowsupdate.com
o http://download.windowsupdate.com
o http://download.microsoft.com
o http://*.download.windowsupdate.com
o http://*.stats.update.microsoft.com
